Hausleute to Stapelmoor;
Had in 1596 to declare a note of protest in Leerort against Count Edzard II. In 1611 the couple probably donated the pulpit of the Protestant Church in Weener. In 1926 restoration work was carried out  the pulpit a lady's hood from the 16th century discovered in the sound cover.

Impressions from the last 200 years of the family tree

The Spekker family has achieved more in the East Frisian Rheiderland than is publicly known. Old files are currently being evaluated that show the Spekker family's great influence, especially regarding Stapelmoor.

As of this year, the family is in possession of the most extensive family tree ever created. In order for this family tree to remain so extensive, we should all do something for it. Each and everyone is hereby called upon to report and request a data sheet, please enter your own data and the data of your grandparents, great-grandparents, etc., if known and send them back. The family tree will be handed over to the state archive by the end of next year at the latest.
